Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about creating, managing, and tracking your QR codes.

Are the QR codes free to use?

Yes! You can generate standard QR codes for free as a guest. For advanced features like dynamic URL editing, scan tracking analytics, and higher generation limits, we offer a free customer account and premium tiers.

What is the difference between Static and Dynamic QR codes?

Static QR Codes: The data is embedded directly into the pattern. Once created, it cannot be changed. Ideal for permanent links or email text.

Dynamic QR Codes: We create a short URL that redirects to your content. This allows you to edit the destination anytime (even after printing) and track how many people scan it.

How many times can my QR code be scanned?

There is no limit to how many times your QR codes can be scanned. Our codes work indefinitely as long as your account is active.

How does the vCard QR code work?

When someone scans your vCard QR code, it instantly prompts them to save your contact details (Name, Job Title, Phone, Email, Website) directly to their phone's address book. It's like a digital business card that never runs out.

Is the Wi-Fi QR code secure?

Yes. The Wi-Fi access credentials are encoded directly into the QR code image on your device. We do not store your Wi-Fi password on our servers. When scanned, it simply tells the phone which network to join and the password to use.

Can I pre-fill a message for WhatsApp?

Absolutely. You can configure your WhatsApp QR code to not only open a chat with a specific number but also pre-fill the text input field with a message (e.g., "Hi, I'm interested in your services"). The user just has to hit send.

Can I customize the design?

Absolutely. You can change the colors, eye shapes, and pattern styles. You can also upload your own logo to appear in the center of the QR code for better branding.

What happens if I calculate the rate limits?

Guests are limited to ~10 generations per hour to prevent abuse. Creating a free account raises this limit significantly (100+ per hour), ensuring power users have the freedom they need.
